Hi! I'm Mel!

I'm a 23 year old digital artist & illustrator from the USA!

I'm represented by Melfia Devilyste, my blue devil mascot that I had created as early as 2017 as an original character!

​

Behind the character, I'm simply a proud Native American artist, and one of many disabled/chronically ill creators!

​

I've been drawing among various other art activities for what feels like my entire life! - Art has always been my *thing.*

​

My digital journey began in 2016, when I was just 13!

I would see so many cool drawings people did digitally in different online fandoms, and had the strong desire to learn!

 

So, with a laptop trackpad and ungodly amounts of determination, I began drawing digitally the hard way!

​

I started by drawing simple bust-angle characters, but would eventually move on to full-body art with the same difficult tools I'd been using from the start, until my 17th birthday.

​

For my 17th birthday, I got my very first graphics tablet!

My first graphics tablet was a UGEE M708, and it made me start thriving at what I do! - Pressure sensitivity was TASTY!

By the time I was 18, I had started dabbling in making digital assets for content creation, such as Twitch emotes, PNGtuber models, screen overlays, & much, much more!

​

And finally, I opened commissions!

I would say I started out how any commission artist starts, in that I had no success at first, but as I improved and got my art more out there, things picked up quickly!

To this day, I'm still learning new things, still improving, and I hope to make something more of what I do someday!​​
